Highlights of the MobileMapper 6 is that it uses a Windows Mobile operating system. This will allow for compatibility of third party software. Other features include a IPX6 waterproof, integrated camera, flashlight, barometer, compass and large SD storage capacity. MobileMapper is an SBAS enabled high-sensitivity GPS receiver which continuously tracks up to 12 satellites to compute and update your position even in difficult conditions, such as under tree canopy and urban surroundings. You can collect GIS/GPS points and maps via the GIS application of your choice, navigate, communicate wirelessly via Bluetooth, take pictures using the integrated 2 megapixel digital camera, use Windows Office Mobile applications, all with a single device.

FAST Survey is a graphical, easy-to-use field solution. A scaleable map view displays points and lines as they are surveyed, offering large-print controls for rapid, reliable data collection. Menu access through an intuitive tab-based interface means that mission critical menus are visible from all screens and no time is spent scrolling through menus in the field.
FAST Survey software is included in the complete Z-Max.Net system; it is an option in the new ProMark3 RTK system and now can be used on the Mobile Mapper 6.
